Did you see this week’s Bachelorette episodes? We had two nights of The Bachelorette this week- Fantasy Suite Dates & Men Tell All! I vlogged my recaps for both episodes in one video this week! Click on the video below to see all that unfolded, who got a rose and who went home and what happened on Men Tell All!
I recently went to NYC to visit my good friend, Suzanne! It was a really fun weekend- we got our eyebrows done, went to tea at the Plaza Hotel, and saw the Manus x Machina fashion exhibit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art! Follow along in my vlog below!
Sania’s Brow Bar
I usually do my own eyebrows and usually don’t do much with them. But I haven’t been loving my brows lately so I decided to visit Sania’s Brow Bar since I heard that Sania is the one in NYC to go to for brows! I’m so glad I did! I will elaborate more in a video on brows coming soon, but you’ll see my before and after in the above vlog!
Tea at The Plaza
As I mentioned in my Tea Cookie recipe post, my friends and I love going to tea! So Suzanne and I went to tea at The Plaza Hotel! Their tea is wonderful! We decided on the Eloise Tea, which is actually the children’s option (but adults can order it too). We thought it was absolutely adorable and just had to get that one! It came with tea, scones, mini sandwiches, mini pastries, and pink cotton candy. Very girly! It was presented beautifully. The experience was lovely!
Manus x Machina Exhibit at The Met
We also saw the Manus x Machina exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This is the Costume Institute’s Spring 2016 exhibition. The Met Gala is the exhibition’s s kick-off. It is a must-see! The dresses were magnificent- one of my favorites is pictured above. We saw Chanel, Dior and Prada to name a few. While I appreciated the concept of the exhibit and the workmanship that went into the garments, I also wanted to try on all of the dresses! Alas, that wouldn’t have been possible! 🙂
Of course, we also did a little shopping and went to dinner- see more in the vlog above!
Let me know in the comments below where your next trip will be! I’d love some ideas!
